The postgraduate course in literature extends and widens the appreciation of literature in English. The students are provided as storehouse of knowledge of global movements in literature, classical and contemporary literary theories, detailed studies of authors and ages as well as analytical understanding of the growth and development of human thought, sensibility and aesthetics.
